A Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center (PPECC) is a licensed setting where children with medical needs receive skilled nursing, therapy, and developmental enrichment during the day, then go home to their families at night. Sunshine delivers its care through the PPECC model.

Yes. Sunshine offers complimentary, provider-supervised transportation to and from the center.

Our skilled team supports medication management, tube feeding, tracheostomy care, and ongoing health monitoring, alongside physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

Every child follows an individualized Plan of Care, created in collaboration with families and physicians and guided by our experienced medical director. Nurses and therapists track measurable progress and adjust the plan as needed.
